The social system that is to be blamed for most of the poverty in India has been around for more than 3,500 years and is deeply entrenched in this society. Consequently it is unwise to think that we can make a difference within a short time. We should instead be looking at long-term solutions and invite partners to stay with a project for at least 3-5 years or more.
We are not asking of our partners more than what we are demanding of ourselves. We are into a humble and consistent engagement with the communities in which we work. We want to love them enough to see them move up the social ladder over time, recognizing that it might take decades before anything tangible happens.

We are committed to do everything with great distinction. At GSED, we want to train our workers to be concerned about the bigger picture. We are involved in building a whole community and empowering people not just going through the motion. We are not purveyors of programs, but promoters of people. Each one of us at GSED is committed to a holistic approach whereby we will rise above the crowd. We want to bring distinction to the quality of our outcomes, the products we manufacture, and the training we provide. Finally, we are committed to transparency in our financial management and reporting.

We need medical care so the people can be well in order to live and work. We need schools because if we are committed to the long-term, the next generation needs to be more educated than the current one. We need spiritual input to share the higher call on their lives.
